About Kevin Loh

Hailing from Singapore, Kevin Loh is one of the leading classical guitarists of his generation.

Kevin stands as a distinguished artist, having achieved the esteemed Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music, alongside the 2018 Goh Soon Tioe Centenary Award and the 2010 HSBC Youth Excellence Award for his musical achievements. In 2023, Kevin earned multiple accolades, including 1st prizes at the XXII Concurso Internacional de Guitarra José Tomás Villa de Petrer, the Josefina P. Tuason International Guitar Competition, and the Boston GuitarFest. Most notably, he secured 2nd place at the 2023 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, arguably the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world.

About Leonela Alejandro

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in April 2000, Leonela formally began her musical education when she was six years old. During her first years, she studied with various Puerto Rican teachers including Jomel Rivera, Julio Reyes, and Rey Nieves. She later became a student of Maestro Iván Rijos at the Escuela Libre de Música de San Juan and then at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, where she completed the first two years of her undergraduate studies. In 2018, Leonela transferred to the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee to complete her Bachelor’s degree with Professor René Izquierdo.

Leonela has received prizes in various level categories at festivals including the Guitar Foundation of America ICAC, Boston GuitarFest, Le Domaine Forget, Indiana Guitar Festival & Competition, Chicago Guitar Festival & Competition, Louisville Guitar Festival & Competition, and Columbus Guitar Symposium.

About Chandler Dillingham

Chandler Dillingham is an award-winning classical guitarist from New York City. He has performed across the United States and Canada as a solo artist and chamber musician, earning prizes in multiple prestigious competitions, including the Schubert Club Scholarship Competition, Southern Guitar Festival, Indiana Guitar Festival, Eastern Music Festival, and Society of American Musicians Competition. Chandler has also been invited to perform at prominent venues in the Midwestern United States, such as the Ravinia Festival and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Concert Series. 

Beyond his performance career, Chandler is a dedicated teacher and researcher. He has delivered lectures on effective practice techniques for organizations such as Latino Arts Inc. and the Guitar Foundation of America, establishing himself as an authority in the field of music education. His research focuses on how students can prepare efficiently for various performance settings, offering valuable insights that have accelerated the progress of students in his private teaching studio.

National Hispanic Heritage Month

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month during this unique classical guitar performance presented by award-winning artist  Kyle Khembo. This fun and entertaining concert will feature a selection of live music by celebrated Latin American composers, including Bate-Coxa, Sueño en la Floresta, Antonio José Sonata para Guitarra, and more!
